Change of repository is coming soon

I've gotten a bit fed up with how complicated SourceForge is. I still can't make heads or tails of the interface, and so I can't expect that this may be why it hasn't caught on as a resource. So, I'm in the process of switching over to Google's code hosting service. It's much simpler and easier to use and should make the code distribution easier.

Code Repository Up

I’ve put vv in an svn repository on sourceforge. The URL of the repository is:

https://svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/vv2

You should be able to download the code using anonymous access. If you want write permissions, send me an email to request write permissions.

Not all the code is in yet, but I should have it in over the next few days. I just want to make sure that all the pieces are added into the repository in a clean state. But, all the core parts of the vv library are in.

VV 1.1 is now available for public download

VV 1.1, the version of vv used in previous publications, including my thesis, is now available for dowload on my University of Calgary website. This version is strictly unsupported and is only available so that vv programs created using this version can still be compiled and run. Users of vv are strongly encouraged to migrate to version 2.0 so that they can continue to get support.

VV software environment version 1.1

The documentation for vv 1.1 can be found be found here. This is the version is depricated and unsupported. No features or bugfixes will be available for this version. Users are strongly encouraged to start porting their projects to vv 2.0 (still in beta) in the near future.

A new (possibly temporary) home for vv

This journal is the new home for announcements regarding the vv software environment. Announcements of new versions, features & bug fixes will be put up here. Those wanting to participate in the project management of vv (i.e. by sending feature requests, bug reports, &c.) should request an account for the vv manangement site.
